let's get retarded!
P.S. - One of our rookies remarked that I looked like I had Tourette's when I was trying to do Tracy's dance.

what food would you be?
today i asked john what food he'd be if he could be any food and he said a burrito because it'd be like being in a warm cozy sleeping bag surrounded by soft goodness.
so i raise the question to you, pounce, what food would you be if you could be any food? you must leave a reason.
i would be a caramel brownie. because then everybody would like me and i'd have friends.

To go with the knitted womb...

Kara -- enjoy. http://www.theanticraft.com/archive/imbolc07/beanis.htm
And don't worry ladies -- there are modifications so you can customize this pattern for your favorite features:
Variations:
For an uncircumcised beanis, skip rounds 11-18 in the Shaft directions and just single crochet around until it is the length you want. For the Lance Armstrong/Tom Green cancer tribute, make only one testicle. For hairy balls, add fringe to the testicles, or strand along some fuzzy novelty yarn while making them.

knee update

dear pounce
remember when my knee looked like this (october 2003)? i finally got it checked out.
apparently my knee cap had become dislodged and (is still) out of place...and when the thingy above my knee exploded and made it the size of a grapefruit causing me to be unable to bend my leg, my quad shut down. and with the inside of my quad not working, my IT band pulled my knee cap further out of place. and since i...played on it...for the next two days straight...and the following three seasons, everything is still messed up.
the good news: no surgery! i just have to work on getting my IT band loose enough to allow the inside band to pull the knee cap back into place and then the tendonitis that's all around it will stop making me want to drive my car into a tree.
also: isn't my leg disgusting? who let me play like that?

blendtec
i'm pretty sure the reason we didn't make nationals last year was because we didn't have this fine product on the sideline.
