sightings of Christmas

If Jenny can post random things, then so can I.

On the drive to Cincinnati last night, I found no less than 4 radio stations playing Christmas songs already. Yesterday was November 5th! 2 were outside Columbus, and 2 were near Cincinnati. Also, on the local waterpark sign (Cincinnati's version of Sandcastle) were a lit-up reindeer and Santa.

Don't people realize how awful this is?

(note: I didn't listen to the Christmas stations, even though it might have been preferable to listening to the Steelers...)

Try living in a country where they don't celebrate Thanksgiving or Halloween.

I have been seeing Christmas decorations since the beginning of October. OCTOBER!

Honduras needs more holidays.

I hate to break it to you, but Pittsburgh is just as bad. They started constructing the tree and ice rink in PPG Plaza at least 3 weeks ago. It was ridiculous! And Light Up night is next Friday. Christmas is barreling in whether you want it yet or not.

Yikes! More Christmas in Pittsburgh today. I saw my first Salvation Army bell ringer, and the creche at USX is nearly up.
