Brought to you by the letters V and J
Today, I am working on deriving an adaptation to a learning algorithm. In the derivation, the letter j is an index for trials, and the letter v is the index for the voxel (like pixel, but volume element instead). What does this mean? I have written "vj" as a subscript many many times. Every time I write it, I think fondly of this weekend, when I was having much more fun than I am now. This derivation is definitely NOT a party in my ______. Discuss how to spell the word that fills in the blank.

I think of it more like a southern spelling.

i believe in spanglish it's spelled
Va'che-che
but if we're going back to the derivation of the word and thus the correct spelling, in the latin it is:
partim femina (meaning roughly 'woman parts')
