I'm sorry, but this just seems ridiculous, which of course is why I posted it. Firstly, that someone would think of this, write down the steps and allege that it works is just insane. But I found it and I'm intrigued, just as I always am about the realm of insanity. I know there are many college kids out there that would rather do anything then study for finals. I propose you do this trick, and report the results. Can you really estimate the number Pi by throwing hot dogs? Someone please prove or disprove this theory for me. And take pictures of the process. Please.

I think it would be excellent if this experiment was tried with a "very stiff person" instead of a hot dog. Seriously, pictures would be awesome.
Jacin, you most prove it's farcisity by conducting the experiment and reporting the results, like any good scientist would. I'll wait for you conclusions.
too bad we don't have frozen hot dogs at work. it would be a good way to pass the time...
i could use pens or rulers, but that wouldn't be nearly as good!
